Siri’s School of the Performing Arts is proud to have it’s students star in leading roles in our local high school musicals.

This year Seneca Valley’s musical, “Beauty and the Beast,” stars Kristen Carmella as Belle, Jamie Walters as Mrs. Potts, Kylie Rapso is the dance captain and featured dancer, and Maggie Holl in the elemetary ensemble.

Riverside’s musical, “Fiddler on the Roof,” stars Kevin Lucas as Tevya.

Auditions for Glee Club TBA. Students interested in auditioning must be enrolled in one or more of the following: voice lessons, musical theatre, ballet, or jazz. To be considered for solos students must be enrolled in voice lessons or musical theatre.

Auditions will consist of a prepared vocal solo and a dance routine that will be taught at the audition.

Glee Club will meet once a week. Days currently being considered are Monday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Glee Club performances will be announced soon.

Here is our fall 2011 class schedule with the classes listed by age group, so it will be easy to find your day and time.  This schedule is mainly set, but is subject to change, and likely a few things here and there will.  When I get time, I’ll also post these classes on the calendar.

We are considering adding a grid to our calendar page that will display classes and times in a simple week view fashion. (Similar to our old website). A sort of “at a glance” view that should make it easier to see what day of the week and time each class will be in the fall. Please leave feedback whether this would be helpful to you, or if the existing Google Calendar is sufficient. (We have yet to post class times for fall 2011 on the Google Calendar, they will be posted soon, so please check back). Thanks! (-:

Congratulations to Josh Smith, a former student of Siri’s and now a sophomore at Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, for landing the lead role of “Roger” in the College’s production of “Rent.” See him in the video below!
